2023年7月7日（金）に京都外国語大学で開催した「どこでもプライド・キャラバン」のレポートをお届けします！
「どこでもプライド・キャラバン」とは、「プライドセンター大阪」の機能を全国各地に届けるアウトリーチ・プロジェクトです。6色の虹色に装飾した「どこでもプライドセンター」号で全国を回り、LGBTQの社会的課題や「プライドセンター大阪」の存在や機能に関する情報発信を行います。まずは主に関西周辺の大学を訪問し、学生や教職員等に向けた情報発信活動を実施しています。
第5回目として、京都外国語大学に訪問しました。
大階段のあるガラス張りのラウンジスペースに、「どこでもプライドセンター（出張プライドセンター）」をオープンしました。実際にプライドセンター大阪に置いてある書籍やラックを、丸ごとセンター号で運び、センターの雰囲気を再現しました！天気も良く、絶好のキャラバン日和でした！
今回のキャラバンでは、京都外国語大学の学生ボランティアの皆さんにもお手伝い頂き、出張センターには「にじいろカフェ」も併設しました。飲み物とお菓子を用意し、たくさんの学生さんが立ち寄ってくださいました！
センターのスタッフも常駐し、プライドセンター大阪の紹介などをおこないました。学生だけでなく、教職員の方にも沢山お越しいただきました。
出張センターには、計３０名の方にお立ち寄りいただきました。
今回は、映画の上映会を２回実施しました。プライドセンター大阪やキャラバンについて紹介したのち、大階段の前のスクリーンで、映画「片袖の魚」を上映しました。上映後はワークシートを使ったワークと、感想の発表も行いました。合計で４５名の方にご参加頂きました。
ここで、学生ボランティアの皆さんが企画・運営してくださった、アイデアにあふれた企画をご紹介します！七夕の企画として、理想のキャンパスについて書く「星に願いを」や、チェキ撮影コーナーを運営してくださいました！ステンドグラス風の装飾もとても綺麗でした！
今回のキャラバンでも、前回に引き続き、プログレスプライドフラッグを製作するワークショップを実施しました。アイデアとこだわりがたくさん詰まった、素敵なフラッグが完成しました！工夫を凝らしながら器用に手を動かしている皆様の姿がとても印象的でした。作成に携わって頂いた皆さん、ありがとうございます。

[Event Report] Dokodemo Pride Caravan at Kyoto University of Foreign Studies
We would like to give you a report about our fifth Dokodemo (meaning ‘anywhere’ in Japanese) Pride Caravan event that we held at the Kyoto University of Foreign Studies on July 7th, 2023!
Dokodemo Pride Caravan is an outreach program of Pride Center Osaka. We aim to bring the services available at our center everywhere in Japan.Our Dokodemo Pride Caravan that is decorated in 6 rainbow colors will travel across Japan to spread information regarding the social obstacles faced by the LGBTQ community and information regarding the Pride Center Osaka.We are going to visit universities in the Kansai region, and will spread information to students, faculty and staff.
This time we visited the Kyoto University of Foreign Studies.
We opened “Dokodemo Pride Center (On-site center)” in the bright lounge space with a grand staircase. We brought books and racks that we have at the Pride Center for people to feel like they are visiting our Pride Center! The weather was really nice for holding this event!
Student volunteers at the Kyoto University of Foreign Studies kindly supported us with organizing this Caravan Event, and we had “Nijiiro Café (Rainbow Café)” with some beverages and treats.
With the presence of the Pride Center staff, we introduced the Pride Center Osaka at our table. Not only the students but also the professors and university staff also participated. 30 people came to our on-site center in total.
We held a film event twice, once during the lunch break and another in the afternoon. After introducing the Pride Center Osaka and the Caravan project, we screened a film called ‘The Fish with One Sleeve‘. We also used a worksheet to share comments about the movie among the participants. 45 people took part in this event in total.
Now we will introduce the projects full of unique ideas organized by the student volunteers! As the day was tanabata (Festival of the Weaver), they held a ‘wish upon a star’ project to share their dream campus ideas with other participants, and a photo booth using a polaroid camera! The stained glass windows were reflecting the sunlight and were very beautiful as well!
We also held a workshop to make an original progress pride flag, and the completed flag was full of great ideas! Thank you all for participating.
